got-the-boot.com is the online trading name of a website designed to introduce potential Employment Tribunal Claimants to a specialist panel of Employment Law Solicitors who can advise and represent them in their Employment Tribunal claim.
The site is owned and operated by Dean Morris, an experienced employment law solicitor himself, who has been actively involved in representing both Claimants (Employees) and Respondents (Employers) throughout the UK for the past 15 years.
got-the-boot.com has a panel of experienced Employment Law Solicitors at its disposal who can represent Respondents on a private fee paying basis and Claimants on a "No Win, No Fee" basis.
Once you have provided us with the relevant information concerning your potential claim, we pass this to a firm of specialist Employment Law Solicitors who we know will be able to assist you and who we believe have the requisite level of expert experience to be able to represent your best interests. They will then make contact with you direct and at a time convenient to you, to discuss the circumstances and merits of your particular case.
If the nominated firm of solicitors can assist you, then depending upon the particular strengths or weaknesses of your case, they will typically charge you a set fee of between 33% and 50% of any damages recovered plus VAT at the current rate. In the event that you do not recover anything then you will not be charged for the work undertaken on your behalf (subject to payment of any disbursements incurred on your behalf).
If you are happy to proceed on this basis, your nominated solicitor will send you a No Win, No Fee agreement together with a full explanation of how this method of funding works. Once you have had opportunity to consider the same, if you wish to continue you will be asked to sign and return the agreement after which they will represent you as your nominated solicitor.
Alternatively you can pay a set hourly rate plus VAT. Your nominated solicitor will provide you with written guidance as to the approximate cost at the outset of the matter. You may be asked to pay sums on account which effectively works in the same way as instalments allowing you to budget for your legal fees and ensuring you know exactly where you are in terms of your financial liability. If you prefer this option then you will be entitled to retain 100% of any damages you recover.
We have designed the site to assist you in understanding the law and the Tribunal process so please feel free to browse the site before making any decisions.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Dean Morris
